FAQ
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Reading, editing and saving PDFs and images all happen in your browser and never reach our server. After the page loads it even works offline.
Is it free? Any limits?
Free, no sign-up and no usage limits. File size is limited only by your device memory; PDFs with hundreds of pages or hundreds of MB may be slow, or may fail on phones.
Can I use password-protected PDFs?
PDFs with a password or editing restrictions cannot be processed. Remove the restriction in the app that created the file first (do not remove restrictions from documents that are not yours).
Is a PDF with my drawn signature a legally binding e-signature?
This tool draws an image of your signature or stamp onto the page. It is not a cryptographic digital signature with a certificate that proves who signed and that the file was not altered. If a contract requires that, use an e-signature service. Whether a simple signature image is acceptable depends on the recipient and the law that applies.
What happens to bookmarks and forms when merging or splitting?
Page content (text, images, links) is kept, but bookmarks (outline), some form fields and document-level settings may not be carried over.
