Inputs and location

Your choice of prefecture and municipality, the point you pick on the map and insurance amounts are processed only in your browser and are never sent to or stored on our server. If you use "Check my current location", your location is used only on your device to move the map and run the check.

Requests to GSI servers

Map tiles and hazard map images load directly from Geospatial Information Authority of Japan servers (cyberjapandata.gsi.go.jp, disaportaldata.gsi.go.jp). GSI therefore receives the map area you view (tile numbers) and normal connection data such as your IP address. Addresses and insurance amounts are not sent.
